Four Day Event Snow Totals

Note: Snowfall totals in many cases are close estimates due to factors ranging from considerable melting as snow fell during the daylight hours on Saturday and Sunday the 27th and 28th, as well as rapid compression on the ground due to the high water content. Many spotters also reported difficulties in measuring snow in the heavy snow zones as well, with reasons ranging from melting, compression, and simply being completely overwhelmed by the shear amount of snow falling over the four day period that keeping up at times was difficult. Measuring techniques also have varied wildly further supporting the idea that snowfall totals are measured estimates.

The snowfall totals listed here are a combination of WeatherNet 6 reports along with National Weather Service COCORAHS and COOP spotters among a few others such as Ski Resorts and trained NWS spotters.
